Electrician (Social Housing) – £45,000 - £55,000 OTE+ Overtime + Company Van

Location: London, Kent, Essex & Hampshire (Ideally based between Croydon and Gatwick)

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 OTE per annum + Overtime + Company Vehicle

Due to continued business growth, our client is looking to recruit an experienced Electrician to join their expanding team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and growing electrical contractor delivering work across the social housing and commercial sectors. The role primarily covers London, Kent, Essex and Hampshire, with occasional nationwide projects requiring overnight stays.

The Role

You will be responsible for carrying out a variety of electrical works, including:

  • Day-to-day reactive repairs
  • Void property works
  • EICRs (Electrical Installation Condition Reports)
  • Remedial works
  • Fault finding and diagnostics
  • Planned maintenance
  • Occasional commercial projects

Essential Requirements

  • ECS Gold Card (in date)
  • Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent)
  • Ability to successfully pass a DBS check
  • Proven experience within social housing
  • Experience carrying out EICRs, remedial works and fault finding
  • Own hand tools
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Willingness to work away from home when required (hotel accommodation, meals and additional incentives provided)
  • Flexibility to work occasional weekends (paid at overtime rates)
