Electrician – Permanent Position

If you are interested in applying for this job, please make sure you meet the following requirements as listed below.

I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Electrician to join an established organisation delivering electrical maintenance, repairs and improvement works across a portfolio of residential and community properties in South Wales.

This is a genuinely varied role, offering the opportunity to work across a mixture of domestic and commercial environments, carrying out everything from reactive repairs and fault finding through to installations, testing and planned maintenance.

The role

As an Electrician, you’ll be responsible for carrying out electrical works safely, efficiently and to a high standard, often working independently while also collaborating with a wider multi-trade maintenance team.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Electrical maintenance, repairs and installation works
  • Full and partial rewires, including work with conduit and trunking
  • Installation of new circuits and associated testing
  • Inspection, testing and certification of electrical installations
  • Fault finding and repairs across a range of electrical systems
  • Testing and maintenance of fire alarms, smoke alarms and emergency lighting
  • Installation, maintenance and fault finding on heating controls and door entry systems
  • Completing planned and cyclical maintenance works
  • Accurately recording works, materials and time
  • Ensuring all work complies with current electrical regulations and health & safety requirements
  • Providing a professional and customer-focused service when working in residents' homes
  • Participating in an out-of-hours call-out rota

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
