Role Description

This full-time Electrician role at LanceSoft, Inc. is an on-site position based in Culham. The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment, including wiring, lighting, control panels, and circuit breakers in accordance with relevant regulations and safety standards. The role involves collaborating with engineers, supervisors, and other trades to support site operations, documenting work performed, and ensuring all activities meet compliance and quality requirements. The Electrician is expected to follow established safety procedures, maintain tools and materials, and contribute to a safe and efficient working environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong practical skills in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial or commercial systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Solid understanding of relevant electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Experience using electrical test equipment and diagnostic tools to identify and resolve faults.
  • Recognized electrical qualification or apprenticeship (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent), with appropriate certifications or licenses where required.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a focus on quality and reliability.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities to work safely and cooperatively in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Culham and adapt to changing operational needs; previous experience in industrial, utilities, or facilities environments is beneficial.
