Location

Wetherby, with travel to customer sites

Full UK licence

Salary

Up to £32,000 depending on experience + bonus

Hours

Full time, Monday to Friday, no weekend working

Please note: Daily travel to and from our Wetherby head office is required. You must live within a reasonable commuting distance, ideally around 30 minutes.

About The Role

North East Heating Solutions is looking for an Electricians Mate / Electrical Improver to join our installation team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in domestic electrical work who is looking to develop their skills, gain further qualifications and build their career within an established business.

Working alongside our experienced installation team, you will assist with the safe and efficient installation of domestic electric radiators and hot water systems.

Our work covers a wide geographical area, from Nottingham through to Northumberland. You will meet the team at our Wetherby head office and travel to customer sites with colleagues.

Job Responsibilities But Not Limited To

  • Working alongside the Installation Manager and wider installation team to complete work to a high standard
  • Assisting with the installation of electrical components in line with relevant regulations and building standards
  • Supporting the installation of domestic electric heating and hot water systems
  • Helping the team manage daily installation schedules and work efficiently on site
  • Communicating professionally with customers and understanding their requirements
  • Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and with excellent attention to detail

Skills And Experience

  • Previous electrical experience, ideally within domestic properties
  • A genuine interest in developing a career within the electrical industry
  • Good practical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
  • Good communication skills and a professional approach when working in customers' homes
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
  • Able to commute to our Wetherby head office daily
