Role Description
The Electricians Qualifying Supervisor (QS) is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Liverpool Area. The QS will oversee and sign off electrical installation work, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and certification requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Supervising electricians
- Conducting inspections and testing
- Diagnosing faults
- Verifying that maintenance and repair work is safe and effective

The role also involves:
- Reviewing documentation
- Maintaining accurate records
- Liaising with internal teams and external bodies
- Supporting energy-efficiency initiatives in domestic properties
The QS will help ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high-quality standard.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in electricity and electrical engineering principles, including safe working practices and relevant regulations.
- Proficiency in electrical work, including installation, inspection, and testing of domestic electrical systems.
- Experience in maintenance & repair of electrical systems, with the ability to ensure long-term reliability and safety.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills to diagnose faults quickly and implement effective solutions.
- Recognized electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) and current industry certifications; QS or supervisor experience is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of UK wiring regulations (e.g., BS 7671) and experience with certification schemes (such as NICEIC or equivalent).
- Excellent attention to detail, record-keeping skills, and ability to complete compliance documentation accurately.
- Strong communication and team supervision abilities, with a focus on safety, quality, and customer service.
