About the Role

As an Analyst within the Billing and Settlements team, you will have a key role in managing our metering portfolio and ensuring site works are completed successfully. Your role will involve varied tasks including reviewing and actioning customer metering requirements, assisting with new connections and disconnections, and building effective relationships with both external agents and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of new connections, disconnections, and siteworks to ensure metering jobs are completed to SLA;
  • Provide subject matter expertise to resolve complex queries and exceptions;
  • Ensure timely and accurate onboarding of new MPANs;
  • Proactively improving and developing processes to ensure metering portfolio is efficiently managed;
  • Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Provide reporting of metering statistics and performance.

About You

  • Consistently high levels of attention to detail and a naturally inquisitive attitude;
  • Ability to build relationships and positively influence others;
  • Self-starter who takes the initiative to not just complete tasks but expand upon them;
  • Proactive approach to problem solving and idea creation to form solutions;
  • Able to prioritise and manage your own workload with minimal supervision;
  • A fast learner and enthusiastic about learning new subjects and acquiring new skills.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience working within a Metering, Settlements, or Industry Operations focused position in the energy industry;
  • Strong expertise of at least one of the following areas; electricity metering, industry data flows, or electricity settlements;
  • Excellent communicator and can build relationships and influence external parties and internal departments;
  • Proficient use of Excel.
