Are you an experienced Electro-Mechanical Assembler looking for an exciting opportunity with a leading supplier of advanced electronic solutions to the Oil & Gas industry?

An innovative electronics manufacturing business specialising in Measurement While Drilling (MWD) technology is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join its growing team in Cheltenham. Supporting the oil, gas, and mining sectors, the company designs and manufactures cutting-edge electronic systems used across global operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong electro-mechanical manufacturing background who thrives in a fast-paced environment where quality, precision, and attention to detail are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build power amplifiers in line with detailed manufacturing documentation.
  • Assemble sub-assemblies from technical drawings and build instructions.
  • Build and integrate complete systems to specification.
  • Maintain high levels of accuracy while working to production schedules and meeting daily and weekly targets.
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards.

Key Desirables

  • Previous experience within an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment.
  • Proven soldering experience to IPC-A-610 standards.
  • Knowledge of PCB assembly, manufacturing, and rework techniques.
  • Good computer literacy.
  • Current IPC-A-610 Certification.
  • Experience working with complex electronic assemblies.
  • Due to the nature of the work, applicants must hold a British Passport.

Shift Pattern

This role operates on a rotating shift pattern:

  • Week 1: Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm
  • Week 2: Wednesday to Sunday, 7:00am to 4:00pm

Weekend pay is included within the package.
