Electronics Engineer

Pertemps are working with an established Manufacturing business based in Southampton who are recruiting for an Electronics Engineer to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Responsibilities as an Electronics Engineer:

  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand technical requirements thoroughly and support the team to ensure their understanding of the project specification.
  • Deliver high-quality drawing packages including schematics, general arrangements, and wiring diagrams.
  • Oversee CAD work during the design stage and ensure accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
  • Follow established technical specifications to prepare drawings to a high standard of accuracy.
  • Consult with engineers regarding model accuracy, design, and drafting standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years electrical design experience
  • Understanding of AutoCAD or Solid Works
  • Strong understanding of electrical principles
  • Understanding of 3 Phase electricity is desirable
  • Excellent eye for detail

The Electronics Engineer role:

  • Salary of £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience
  • Monday – Friday 9am – 5.30pm
  • 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays (rising up to 25 days with length of service)
