This role is suited to someone with strong market knowledge, excellent client engagement skills, and a deep understanding of electronic trading workflows. This role is aimed to work as a part of the growing Electronic & Hybrid Markets division and delivering high-quality client coverage across FX, Fixed Income, Rates, and Credit products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Updating Senior Management on any market issues that may affect platform revenue and any technical issues that may affect platform performance.
  • Being aware and keeping up to date with current Regulations.
  • Client awareness of other services that are available, i.e. STP and RTNS / Aggregator and API facilities.
  • Updating CRM of all visits and feedback, keeping track of follow ups where necessary.
  • To be alert to Conduct Risk issues, specifically the risk of harm to client interests, market integrity, and/or competition in financial markets due to inappropriate practices or behaviours across the firm.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
