Senior Electronics Engineer – Nottingham – LM1256

Salary: Competitive

Job Term: Full Time/Permanent

Job Outline:

My client, who is a leading manufacturer and developer of specialist electronic equipment, now seeks an experienced Electronics Engineer to join their growing team based in Nottinghamshire.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will join a small team of engineers, including three PhD qualified engineers who are focused on developing and improving my client's range of sensors/instrumentation.

This is a new position within the company which includes designing and implementing custom solutions as well as undertaking projects to improve in-house calibration, type, and routine product testing.

You will provide engineering input on new product design on a variety of aspects such as CE compliance, power supply design, analogue design, and even mechanical aspects of product housing.

Within the role you will undertake the development of new products and technologies, taking designs from concept through to manufacturing.

The successful candidate will have a proven background in electronic design (analogue and digital) and be able to show the ability to design PCB from schematic capture.

This is an opportunity for a talented Electronics Engineer with the aspirations and ability to progress to Principal Electronics Engineer in the next couple of years.

For the successful candidate this is a varied and interesting role with strong career progression opportunities.

Qualifications:

It is expected that you will have a minimum of a Master’s degree in Electronics or similar.

Ideally you will have 2 to 5 years’ experience working in a related field such as test and measurement, audio engineering, instrumentation, analogue electronics, power electronics, automation, or manufacturing.

Desirable skills include PCB Design, MATLAB, SPICE
