Join our team as an Electronic Security Commissioning Engineer and play a key role in delivering reliable, high-quality security solutions.
Working independently or alongside experienced engineers, you will install and commission CCTV, access control and intruder alarm systems, providing customers and contractors with a professional service and completing work within agreed timescales.
This role offers excellent opportunities to broaden your technical expertise, take on greater project responsibility and progress within the Projects team as your experience develops.
Key Responsibilities
- Support installation projects through to successful completion
- Commission security systems in accordance with company standards and client requirements
- Complete commissioning records, paperwork and reports in a timely manner
- Report project progress and technical issues to the Project Manager
- Ensure all systems are fully operational and handed over to the required standard
- Maintain a professional approach when working with clients, contractors and other stakeholders

Systems you'll work with:
We work with a range of leading manufacturers and technologies, including:
- Axis
- Dahua
- Avigilon
- Gallagher
- Salto
- Paxton
- Commend
- Texecom
- Galaxy
You'll also be involved with network-connected security systems and integrated electronic security solutions across a variety of commercial environments.
What we're looking for:
- Experience as a multi-disciplined Electronic Security Engineer
- Experience of networked access control systems such as Axis, Gallagher, Paxton and Commend audio & video entry systems
- Experience of intruder alarms and the relevant NSI codes of practice
- Strong IT skills and understand Networks and Network Connected Devices
- Experience of commissioning of these systems would be an advantage, but training will be provided.

Skills & Qualities Required:
- Full driving license required and willing to travel throughout UK including overnight stays where required
- Flexible attitude and approach including excellent interpersonal skills
- Confident, friendly and can conduct themselves in a professional manner
- Works well as part of a team but also confident working independently and can fault find on most systems
- Enhanced security check clearance
- H&S trained
