Senior Electronic Warfare Systems Architect

A Senior Electronic Warfare Systems Architect with a broad technical understanding and the ability to turn technology ideas into real capability in deployable products will join a Technical Consultancy pushing the boundaries of Defence related Engineering development.

A British Passport holder, eligible for UK DV and NATO Secret Security Clearance, you’ll bring in-depth knowledge of one or more of RF/Electronics, Software, Signal Processing or FPGA; with a breadth of experience which covers the EW landscape, threat systems, operational context and architectures.

The successful Senior / Principal Electronic Warfare Systems Architect will shape new opportunities and proposals, developing technical solutions, leading technical delivery as well as supporting trials and demonstrations with customers. You must be comfortable discussing EW capability and threat systems with MoD and industry stakeholders as well as getting into technical detail with engineers.

Key Requirements

  • Extensive professional experience relating to Electronic Warfare Systems Architecture ideally in product development, Defence technology or systems engineering environment.
  • Strong technical background in RF/Electronics, Signal Processing, Software and/or FPGA.
  • A deep understanding of the Electronic Warfare landscape and threat systems.
  • A network of technical relationships across the MoD, Defence industry and relevant international communities.
  • Experience of contributing technically to bids or new business opportunities and leading technically complex engineering activities.
  • Holding or with eligibility for UK DV Security Clearance.
