Ventrix Labs is scaling access to the planet’s most abundant resource and powering critical national infrastructures.
Our modular carbon capture units converts distributed industrial off-gas into high purity CO2, used in food and beverage, e-fuels, chip manufacturing and nuclear.
About the Role
In our London office, we are hiring an Electronics and Electrical Engineer I who will own the electrical architecture and safety of the modular equipment and control system.
You’ll work directly with the CTO Yuchen with 8+ years of manufacturing experience, and cross-functionally among the team with experience from Mitsubishi, Siemens, AMD and BMW to refine, scale, and deploy systems in the real world.

Why we need you today
We have field trials operating today with Fortune 500 companies and are preparing for our first industrial pilots with breweries. As we move from field validation to commercial deployments, we need your help owning and scaling a critical part of the process.

Your role
- Own the control and electrical architecture, define PLC control architecture, I/O, sensors/actuators, safe states, shutdown and recovery modes
- Design power distribution, interlocks, wiring standards, and robust junction boxes
- Integrate OEM and industrial hardware into a coherent, serviceable system (clean cable management, separation of power, signal, and safety)
- Lead unit-level testing, structured fault injection, and commissioning readiness for field trials and pilots
- Enforce interface discipline, no undocumented hacks, changes stay repeatable

Background/training
- Systematic training or hands-on exposure in Electrical / Control / Mechatronics, including PLCs, sensors, actuators, and low-voltage power
- Practical exposure to wiring, junction boxes, and safety concepts
- Preferred: an engineering or science based degree
