Now is an exciting time to join a rapidly growing leading developer of optical sensing technologies, who is looking for an Electronics Design Engineer.
Joining a multidisciplinary team, your main responsibility will be to support the design, development and testing of electronics, hardware and PCBs, for optoelectronic systems.
- You will design and develop new electronic products and PCBs which meet customer requirements.
- In addition, you will be responsible for bench testing, fault finding and troubleshooting of electronic assemblies in the lab.
- Working closely with the optical, mechanical and software engineers, you will be involved in the integration of the electronics into the new sensing systems.
- From time to time, you will also be required to reverse engineer third-party electronic items.

Experience:
We are looking for a graduate with 3-5 years post-graduation commercial experience in Electrical Design, including PCB Design, Embedded Systems, Microcontrollers, gained in a manufacturing / product development environment.
Through your studies and working experience you should have a strong understanding of embedded systems concepts, and PCB design tools.
Qualifications:
To succeed, you should have achieved a Masters or Bachelors in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, coupled with a strong understanding of the fundamentals of analogue and digital electronics principles.

Dependent upon experience, plus benefits.
