Electronics Design Engineer – Mixed Signal / Robotics
Are you an experienced Electronics Design Engineer with strong expertise in mixed-signal electronics, digital design, sensors and PCB development?
If so, our client is looking to hire an Electronics Design Engineer based in Cambridge.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop analogue and digital mixed-signal electronics for advanced robotic platforms
- Design electronics to interface with robotic odometry systems, including IMUs, GPS and RTK
- Develop and integrate digital electronics, sensors and associated interfaces
- Design and validate CAN interfaces connecting robotic electronics to motor controllers
- Work on electronics system architecture and contribute to ground-up system design
- Produce schematics and PCB designs, taking designs from concept through to implementation
- Progress existing prototype designs towards manufacturing and small-scale production

Requirements
- Solid commercial experience as an Electronics Engineer or Electronics Design Engineer
- Strong experience in mixed-signal electronics design, with a particular strength in digital electronics
- Experience with analogue electronics and sensors
- Experience with schematic capture and PCB design
- Knowledge of interfaces such as CAN
- Experience designing electronics for sensors and/or systems such as IMU, GPS or RTK would be beneficial
