Electronics Engineer (Progression to Management)

Are you an Electronics Engineer looking for the opportunity to develop within a longstanding business that will guide you into Management, in a hands-on role where you'll pass down your knowledge to graduates and juniors?

Do you have a background in a product's full lifecycle, from initial conception through to production and are eager to demonstrate your ability to progress your career?

In this position, you will be working in the Defence sector, designing cutting-edge positioning and navigation technology. This will involve digital and analogue circuit design and verification working within the Hardware team. This is a senior position that will involve developing the junior members of the team and is a great chance to further develop your knowledge and progress your career in the future.

Right on the doorstep of the outstandingly beautiful Lake District and Yorkshire Dales, this company was established over three decades ago and has built a strong, long-lasting foundation in robust communication devices used in the space and defence sectors.

This role would suit an Electronics Engineer looking for structured development and training to become a manager, who has experience bringing products from conception to production and eager to train up the next generation of Engineers.

The Role

  • Working within the Electronics hardware design team
  • Designing new products within satellite communication for the Defence sector
  • Tailored development plan and training on how to manage engineers
  • 37 hours per week, flexible working hours from a Heysham-based office
