Electronics Engineer - Berkshire - up to £50,000 + Benefits - REF 2052

I am currently recruiting an Electronics Engineer to work for a leading engineering organisation based in Berkshire. Salary up to £50,000 + Benefits.

The organisation is very well regarded for their engineering excellence and having been established for over 70 years they have a fantastic heritage. They work on cutting-edge projects that push the boundaries of technology, being able to deliver innovative solutions to industry problems and challenges many of their competitors are unable to solve. As a result, they have some of the most highly capable engineers within their business.

To support the growth of the business and in line with winning a large order with a very exciting customer their current workload is immediately increasing and they have the need to appoint another Electronics Engineer on a permanent basis.

Role Description

In this role as an Electronics Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing products, taking them through from concept to manufacture. You will primarily be working on a range of cutting-edge audio focused projects which will therefore be analogue focused and will see you designing power amplifiers, filters, preamps, mixers, and headphone drivers. You will be working in a team of other Electronics Design Engineers, but liaising with a multi-disciplined department.

Essential Requirements

  • At least 4 years' experience as an Electronics Engineer, Electronics Design Engineer, Hardware Engineer, Analogue Engineer or similar
  • Experience designing analogue circuits for some or all of the following: power amplifiers, filters, preamps, mixers, and headphone drivers
  • Experience working with digital audio interfaces such as: I2S, TDM, PDM, S/PDIF, or USB audio
  • Experience with audio measurements such as: THD+N, frequency response, noise floor, SNR, crosstalk, gain, and dynamic range.
