Electronics Engineer

Location: Kempston, Bedfordshire

Salary: Up to £70,000 per year


As our client continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Electronics Engineer to join our engineering team in Kempston.

You'll become part of a genuinely collaborative engineering environment where electronics, firmware, and mechanical engineers work closely together every day. Engineers are encouraged and supported to share ideas, solve technical challenges as a team, and take ownership throughout the full product development lifecycle.

The Role

This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll contribute to the design and development of innovative environmental monitoring products from concept through to production. You'll be involved in:

  • Electronics design
  • PCB layout
  • Prototyping
  • Testing
  • Product improvement
  • Supporting products through manufacture

We're looking for experience in:

  • Electronics design for commercial products
  • PCB design and layout, including multi-layer PCBs
  • Product development from concept through to production
  • Prototyping, testing, and debugging electronic circuits
  • PCB layout with an awareness of signal integrity, low-noise design, and EMC considerations
  • Working collaboratively with firmware and mechanical engineers to develop complete products

Experience with mixed-signal PCB design or electronics used in sensing, measurement, or instrumentation applications would be advantageous but isn't essential.
