Electronics Technician – EV Systems

Sector: Engineering / Manufacturing

Salary: Depending on experience
Contract: Permanent, full time

Are you an Electronics or Electrical Technician with strong fault-finding skills and experience working on prototype, development or other technically demanding electrical systems?

ISQ Recruitment is recruiting an Electronics Technician – EV Systems for an established engineering business in Norfolk. This is a practical role involving the build, test, diagnosis and development of electrical and electronic systems, with the opportunity to work closely with engineers on prototype and development projects.

About The Role

You will support engineering development activity through hands-on assembly, testing, diagnostics and fault finding. The work will suit someone who enjoys practical technical problem solving, working from electrical drawings and using test equipment to identify faults and support system improvements.

Key Duties

  • Assemble and test electrical and electronic systems
  • Carry out electrical fault finding and diagnostics
  • Read and work from electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Support prototype builds and development testing
  • Manufacture, modify and repair wiring and electrical assemblies
  • Use electrical test and diagnostic equipment
  • Record test results and support technical investigations
  • Work alongside engineers to identify faults and improve systems

What We Are Looking For

You Should Have

  • Practical experience in electronics, electrical engineering or a related technical environment
  • Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Experience using electrical test equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes
  • Good practical workshop skills
  • A relevant technical qualification, apprenticeship or equivalent practical experience
  • Full UK driving licence
