Electronics & Power Supply Technician
Location: Long Crendon, near Thame
The Opportunity
We are looking for a practical, hands-on Electronics & Power Supply Technician to join our technical team in Thame. The successful candidate will be responsible for modifying, assembling, testing, and configuring power supplies and associated electronic assemblies to meet bespoke customer requirements. This role would suit someone with experience in electronics assembly, PCB modifications, soldering, wiring, testing, and fault finding.

What You’ll Bring
- Ability to understand wiring diagrams, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Experience using electronic test equipment such as digital multi-meters, electronic loads, and oscilloscopes.
- Knowledge of power supply protection circuits, including OVP, OCP, and SCP.
- Understanding of EMC and electrical compliance requirements.
- Methodical, organised, reliable, and conscientious approach to work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a small technical team.
- Able to manage multiple customer projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality standards.
- Electronics qualification such as HNC, HND, BTEC, NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent.
- Experience working with AC/DC power supplies, cable assembly, loom manufacture, conformal coating processes, electrical safety testing, or low-voltage electronic product assembly would be advantageous.
