Electronics Production Engineer
A specialist Electronics Manufacturing business in the Wigan area are looking for an Electronics Production Engineer to join them on their next wave of company growth.
As Electronics Production Engineer, you’ll act as the technical link between Engineering, Production and Quality, supporting new product introduction, engineering changes, production issues and continuous improvement.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll design test jigs and fixtures, create simple PCBs using PCB CAD software and provide technical support and training to production personnel.

Electronics Production Engineer requirements:
- 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience supporting the transfer of products from Engineering into Production
- Electronics manufacturing and assembly experience
- Experience with PCB, BOM and firmware version control
- Experience with pick and place programmes and reflow profiles
- PCB CAD software – desirable but not essential
- Understanding of DFM / DFT and production process improvement
