You will join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit, supporting the design, engineering, integration, operation, and maintenance of electronic security services, including:
- Intrusion detection
- Access control
- Biometric authentication
- Video surveillance
- Audio-visual systems
- IT systems, perimeter defense
- Command and control solutions
Responsibilities
Core Technical Duties
- Execute on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of electronic systems, ensuring functionality and reliability.
- Perform site surveys, configure hardware and software, and test systems for proper operation and technical support for customers.
- Lead design document quality reviews, analyzing drawings to evaluate constructability.
- Track project metrics, participate in resource allocation meetings, and verify proper timesheet charges.

Installation & Maintenance
- Install raceway, cabling, equipment racks, enclosures, panels compliant with industry standards.
- Terminate, test, and configure electronic devices and network/IT equipment.
- Manage switch configurations, troubleshoot programmable components, and configure servers/workstations.
- Install and maintain field devices, troubleshoot copper and fiber optic issues.
Commissioning & Compliance
- Lead commissioning efforts, track activities, and collaborate with owners/design teams.
- Ensure adherence to quality control plans (QC), conducting inspections and documenting findings.
- Execute PITCO (Program Integrity Team) planning to ensure testing, installation, and project outcomes.
Safety & Operational Compliance
- Adhere to M.C. Dean safety policies (JHA, AHA, PFW) and company handbooks.
- Conduct daily ORM (Observation and Risk Management) meetings and accident/incident reporting.
- Maintain tool inventory, inspect equipment, and coordinate material ordering/receiving.
Customer & Team Collaboration
- Communicate consistently with project teams, trades, and customers, demonstrating collaboration and dedication.
- Mentor crew members, provide constructive feedback, and promote strategic thinking.
- Assign and manage manpower, material procurement, and resource planning.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Valid driver’s license (company vehicle use possible; adheres to *acceptable driving record).
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- OR Graduation from an accredited electronics technician program
- OR Completion of an electrical apprenticeship, plus 3+ years of relevant experience.

Progressive Experience:
- 6+ years of electronics installation/maintenance across multiple systems and customers.
- Proficiency in Oral, Written, and Presentation Skills.
- Demonstrated collaboration in multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong time management, organization, and deadline adherence.
Technical Skills (Bonus):
- Advanced MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
- Vendor certifications in IDS, ACS, or CCTV systems (e.g., CCURE, Lenel, Identiv, Bosch, Airphone, DVR).
- OSHA 30 certification.

Abilities & Physical Requirements
- Lift, carry, and move objects up to 50 lbs (adhering to proper safety protocols).
- Relocate a 12-foot stepladder independently.
- Work at heights up to 60 feet, confidently using scaffolds, aerial lifts, ladders, and catwalks.
- Perform repetitive physical tasks: climbing, squatting, kneeling, stretching, pulling.
- Health/perception standards:
- Correctable good vision/color perception
- Adequate hearing and English fluency.
- Problem detection (identifying potential issues, not solving them).
