PCB & Wiring Harness Technician- Swindon- up to £40,000 DOE

Build the technology shaping the future of defence, aerospace and autonomous systems.

Copello have partnered with the next big name in Defence to support them with the recruitment of PCB & Wiring Harness Technicians to manufacture, assemble and test electronic hardware with precision and quality. You'll play an important hands-on role in delivering reliable, high-performance technology.

What you'll do

  • Manufacture and assemble PCBs and wiring harnesses.
  • Read and interpret PCB drawings, schematics and technical documentation.
  • Assemble and solder electronic components.
  • Use test equipment including oscilloscopes and multimeters.
  • Carry out testing, inspection and fault-finding to ensure quality and functionality.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary engineering and manufacturing team.

What we're looking for

You'll ideally have:

  • A professional or higher technical qualification in Electronics, Mechatronics, Electrotechnics or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience in electronics manufacturing or a similar hands-on role.
  • Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters and other electronic test equipment.
  • The ability to read PCB drawings and schematics.
  • Basic knowledge of PCB manufacturing and assembly processes.
  • A proactive, organised and hands-on approach to problem solving.
  • Strong teamwork skills and a high level of attention to detail.
