An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Electronics Technician to join our team in Solihull. As an Electronics Technician at Rolls-Royce, you will play a key role in our civil aerospace business by practically supporting a team who design, develop & maintain Control & Monitoring Units for Rolls-Royce applications. We are looking for individuals who are driven and work to a high standard in this area of safety critical, harsh environment electronics systems.
Responsibilities
- Primary role of assembling Electronic PCB’s / Units to a high specification.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures as required.
- Quality checks own work to ensure it meets the required standards and completes the relevant documentation accordingly.
- Raising of Non-Conformance documentation and assisting the Team and Management in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
- Maintain all relevant operational control processes such as visual management boards and planning schedules.
- Maintains equipment by ensuring TPM, 5S, calibration is adhered to.
- Follows health, safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
- Works in an integrated team to achieve the cells targets.
- Other duties may be assigned by the Production Leader.

Preferred Requirements
- Experience in manufacturing operations & production environment.
- Good manual dexterity skills.
- Previous Aerospace manufacturing experience advantageous.
- Knowledge & experience of a wide range of inspection techniques.
- IT Skills (MES/Microsoft applications/etc).
