Talentmark are recruiting for an experienced Electronics Technician to join a scientific instrument manufacturing company based in Hemel Hempstead on a permanent basis.

This is an onsite-based role, working 9am-5pm Monday - Friday.

The Company: Our client works with businesses and laboratories globally, providing automated solutions for a variety of sectors.

Key duties will include:

  • Attend project kick-off meetings and work with Project Manager to understand the scope of the project.
  • Carry out the build of the electrical and electronic assemblies, in line with the agreed schedule.
  • Ensure the build is documented correctly following standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure an electronics review is completed and any shortfalls are addressed.
  • Perform quality control inspections, fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and resolution of electrical hardware issues as required.

Your Background:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an electrically biased role, with demonstrated exposure to electrical assembly.
  • Technical qualification in an electrical engineering discipline, either vocational or academic.
  • Ability to use tools appropriately to assemble products, with a background in mechanical assembly.
  • An understanding of circuit diagrams, analogue and digital electronics.
  • Computer literate with skills in MS Office applications such as Excel, Outlook, MS Visio, and MS Teams.
