Electronics Technician – Product Development – Warwick
An innovative product development consultancy is seeking an Electronics Technician to join a growing multidisciplinary technical team. This is a hands-on development role working across a diverse range of projects spanning consumer products, transport solutions and safety-critical medical devices.
What you'll do as an Electronics Technician:
- Hand-solder and rework PCBs, including very small surface-mount components
- Build prototype circuits, breadboards and circuit modifications from informal technical briefs
- Support electronics development across multidisciplinary design and engineering projects
- Use electronics CAD systems to investigate PCB designs and component information
- Create PCB components and support the layout of test boards

What you'll bring as an Electronics Technician:
- Strong hands-on electronics skills with excellent soldering and PCB rework capability
- Proven experience working with both through-hole and surface-mount components to 0402 and 0201
- Experience in a product development or R&D environment rather than solely production
- Good understanding of PCBs and electronic circuit principles
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to learn new technologies quickly
