Role Overview
This role offers the chance to contribute throughout the entire project lifecycle, from concept and development through integration, launch, commissioning, and operational support. Working within the Optical Payloads team, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop innovative imaging solutions for space applications.
Skills Required
- Electronics degree or equivalent
- Experience in electronics verification, validation, testing, or design
- Strong fault-finding and debugging skills
- Mixed-signal electronics knowledge
- Experience with test equipment and laboratory investigations
- Familiarity with Python or TCL scripting for test automation
- Understanding of FPGA development and VHDL verification
- Experience with Mentor Graphics tools would be beneficial

Desired Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in electronics verification, testing, and debugging (or electronics design with strong test focus)
- Experience in mixed-signal circuit testing and validation
- Strong proficiency with lab test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analysers, signal generators, etc.)
- Familiarity with Mentor tools is a plus
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or TCL for test automation
- Understanding of FPGA design and verification in VHDL
- Strong fault-finding skills and an analytical approach to diagnosing complex issues
