About the Program:
The Fitch Elevate Program is a 9-month paid internship for school leavers (completed A Levels or equivalent) who want to start their career in a global financial services business. This is designed for individuals who want to pursue a work-based route, rather than going to university. From day one, you’ll work on real projects, learn how global markets work, and build skills that can help you stand out. You’ll also get training, coaching, and support from people across Fitch. As part of the program, you may travel to London for orientation and get the chance to meet more of our global team.

Fitch Ratings Middle Office Intern
As an Operations Intern in Fitch Ratings’ Middle Office, you’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at how credit ratings are created and delivered. You’ll help support teams working across global finance, including companies, banks, governments, and other sectors. You’ll learn how financial markets work and how teams across Fitch work together. This role is a great fit if you want to build confidence, learn about finance, and gain real workplace experience.
Fitch Ratings AI Intern
As an AI Intern in Fitch Ratings’ Operations team, you’ll help explore how artificial intelligence can support smarter, faster, and more efficient ways of working. You’ll work with teams using technology, data, and process improvement to help solve real business problems. This role is a great fit if you’re curious about AI, finance, data, and how new tools can improve the way global teams work.

Fitch Ratings Performance Operations Intern
As a Performance Operations Intern in Fitch Ratings, you’ll support the teams that help analysts maintain Structured Finance ratings by working with important performance data. You’ll learn how financial markets work, help process and review data, and work with analysts, operations colleagues, IT teams, and other partners. This role is a great fit if you’re organised, detail-focused, curious about finance and data, and interested in building real workplace experience in a global business.
Fitch Ratings Strategy & Analytics Intern
As a Strategy & Analytics Intern in Fitch Ratings, you’ll help the team use data, research, and analysis to support business decisions and improve how Fitch Ratings works. You’ll contribute to projects across strategy, operations, competitor intelligence, and business performance, while building skills in Excel, PowerPoint, communication, and problem solving. This role is a great fit if you’re curious, detail-focused, organised, and interested in finance, data, and how global businesses make decisions.
Fitch Group: Data Analyst Intern
As a Data Analyst Intern, you’ll work with fundamental financial data used across Fitch’s global business. You may support areas such as Sourcing and Workflow, or Fundamentals teams covering banks, non-bank financial institutions, insurance companies, and corporate entities. You’ll help collect, check, and organise information from annual and other company reports, while building useful skills in data analysis, problem solving, teamwork, and communication. This role is a great fit if you’re curious about data, finance, accounting, technology, or how businesses make decisions.
Fitch Learning: Learning Support Assistant
As a Learning Support Assistant at Fitch Learning, you’ll help people have a great learning experience. You’ll support course bookings, learning materials, online platforms, and client questions, while getting exposure to global clients, financial education, and professional training. This role is a great fit if you enjoy helping people, staying organised, and working in a busy team.
Key Details:
- Internship Duration: 9 months
- Start date: February 2027
- Eligibility: Ideal for those who have completed school (A Levels or equivalent) and are choosing a work-based route instead of university
- Location: 5 New York Street, Manchester M1 4JB
- All candidates need to be within a commutable distance of the Manchester office as you will be expected to be in the office at least 3 days a week.
