Elite 3E Senior Applications Developer

Join a highly regarded law firm as a Senior Applications Developer, taking ownership of the development and support of Elite 3E-based solutions within a complex legal environment. Working closely with finance and business stakeholders, you will deliver innovative applications and system enhancements that drive efficiency, performance, and service excellence.
Role Responsibilities
- Develop, customise, and enhance Elite 3E applications and workflows to support the finance, billing, matter management, and operational requirements of a legal services environment.
- Partner with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to design and deliver Elite 3E solutions that improve efficiency, data quality, and user experience across the firm.
- Lead the development of scalable solutions using Elite 3E, VB.NET, SQL, and XML technologies, ensuring high levels of performance, stability, and maintainability.
- Act as a subject matter expert for Elite 3E, identifying system improvements, troubleshooting complex issues, and supporting the ongoing evolution of the firm's practice management platform.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to implement, integrate, and support Elite 3E enhancements, ensuring solutions align with business objectives and industry best practice.

Required experience
- You must have experience with Elite 3E IDE.
- Significant experience developing and customising Elite 3E solutions.
- Advanced knowledge of.NET development, particularly VB.NET, alongside XML technologies such as XSLT and XPath.
- Strong experience with SQL Server and T-SQL, with the ability to develop performant and maintainable database solutions.
- Proven ability to work on complex business-critical applications, communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and exposure to Microsoft technologies such as Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric, or reporting solutions would be highly advantageous.

Toolsets
- Elite 3E IDE 2.7 or later development experience is required.
- Elite 3E Templates / Design Gallery knowledge would be highly advantageous.
- SQL Server - TSQL.
- XSLT.
- Azure DevOps knowledge.
- Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Logic Apps, and Power Automate) experience is highly advantageous.
- Microsoft SQL Reporting Services would be advantageous.
