Virgin Active Elite Pilates Personal Trainer

In this role, you will play a key part in delivering exceptional Pilates experiences that help our members move better, feel stronger and achieve their individual wellness goals. Combining expert technical knowledge with outstanding coaching and member experience, you’ll deliver personalised 1:1 Pilates sessions, small-equipment group sessions and Virgin Active signature Pilates classes to the highest standard.
The Role
- Deliver personalised 1:1 comprehensive Pilates sessions tailored to individual member goals, needs and abilities.
- Lead small-equipment group Pilates classes that motivate, challenge and inspire our members.
- Deliver Virgin Active signature Pilates group classes to a consistently high standard.
- Design structured programmes that support progression, performance and long-term movement quality.
- Identify movement limitations and integrate appropriate corrective strategies into training programmes.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with members, supporting retention, referrals and continued engagement.
- Translate complex Pilates and movement concepts into clear, engaging and accessible coaching.
- Uphold Virgin Active brand standards through professionalism, expertise and leadership on the gym floor.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and club teams to continually enhance the Pilates experience.
- Support newer instructors and contribute to team development where appropriate.
- Take ownership of your own professional development through internal and external learning opportunities.
- Actively review your performance, embrace feedback and continually develop your coaching practice.
- Complete all required Virgin Active training and actively advocate for our Social Wellness Club proposition.

You'll also play an important role in supporting the club's commercial performance, working towards our 10% Personal Training penetration target and delivering a consistent 23+ sessions per week.
Who We're Looking For
- A recognised Comprehensive Pilates qualification covering all apparatus.
- Experience working within a Comprehensive Pilates studio environment.
- A valid DBS check.
- Public liability insurance.
- A proven ability to coach clients safely and effectively to a high standard.
- Confidence working independently and managing your own schedule.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ability to work with members with different goals, abilities and learning styles.
- Strong organisational skills and confidence using booking systems and digital platforms.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays where required.
- The ability to handle member feedback and concerns professionally, positively and proactively.
- Most importantly, you'll be passionate about Pilates, committed to delivering an exceptional member experience and excited to play your part in shaping the future of wellness.

£45—£45 GBP
