Blue Arrow is currently recruiting on behalf of one of our well-established industrial clients based in Haddington (EH41). We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Industrial Cleaner to join their team on a full-time basis.
The Role
As an Industrial Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the packhouse environment. This is a hands-on role involving deep cleaning of machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure food safety and hygiene standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean machinery, equipment, and production areas to required hygiene standards
- Carry out deep cleaning of floors, walls, and surfaces throughout the packhouse
- Use cleaning chemicals, materials, and equipment safely and correctly
- Adhere to PPE requirements at all times
- Complete cleaning records and checklists accurately
- Maintain cleanliness in communal areas including toilets, canteen, and changing rooms
- Keep workstations, walkways, and storage areas clean and free of waste
- Monitor cleaning chemical levels and report shortages
- Report any equipment faults or maintenance issues
- Support general site cleaning duties, including external areas when required
- Follow all health & safety and food hygiene procedures

About You
- Previous industrial or heavy-duty cleaning experience is preferred
- Good understanding of cleaning chemicals and hygiene practices
- Knowledge of health & safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Able to work independently and maintain high standards
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Excellent attention to detail
- Must have your own transport due to the location of the site
