Blue Arrow is recruiting for a Machine Operator to join a successful food production business based in East Lothian.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced operator looking to join a fast-paced and supportive production environment with opportunities for development and progression.
The Role
You will play a key role in operating machinery used throughout the production process, helping to maintain high standards of quality, efficiency, and safety while supporting the wider production team.
Key Duties
- Operate and set up production machinery
- Monitor equipment performance and production output
- Complete routine machinery checks and report any faults
- Carry out quality inspections on products
- Ensure compliance with traceability procedures
- Support efficient production workflows and targets
- Maintain excellent health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Keep production areas clean and organized

About You
- Experience working as a Machine Operator, Production Operator, or within a similar manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, motivated, and safety-conscious
- Access to transport due to the site's location
