About the Role
The successful candidate would join as a Senior associate within our Client Assets (CASS) specialist audit team, which sits within Non-Financial Audit (NFA) in the Audit line of service. The role will involve being part of our audit team that delivers CASS audits to large, complex Banking & Capital Markets (AWM) clients.
Working in AWM will provide opportunities to gain experience working across a variety of clients including FTSE listed, global private companies, private partnerships, funds and Private Equity and Venture Capitalist backed companies. You'll work across a wide variety of industry sectors including, Real Estate, Hedge Funds, Pensions, Private Equity, traditional Asset and Wealth management, as well as technology and asset servicing businesses. This breadth of client base gives our people an unmatchable opportunity to gain deep understanding and experience across the whole AWM sector.

What your days will look like
- Executing controls and substantive testing on CASS audits.
- Coaching/supporting junior team members in the execution of control and substantive testing on CASS audits.
- Overall project and stakeholder management (client and internal) in relation to delivery of CASS audits.
This role is for you if:
- Technical knowledge and experience of PwC audit guidance/methodology, particularly controls and substantive testing methodology.
- Technical knowledge and experience in the UK FCA Client Asset rules (CASS) and how they apply to AWM clients (i.e. investment business).
- Experience and competence in project management and delivering of an audit engagement, including tracking audit status, providing status updates and managing key internal and external stakeholders.
