Email and Outreach Marketing Manager, Higher Education
Part-time, three days a week. Remote, UK.
Potentially is hiring a part-time email and outreach marketing manager to open conversations with universities. You find the institutions with a live need, write to the right person and hand a qualified meeting to our CEO and COO. You report to the CEO.
About Potentially
We see potential in every person. Potentially exists to make learning visible, skills verifiable and student potential recognisable.
Universities have the tools to deliver content, but not to show what each student can do. As AI reshapes work, that gap matters more every year. On Potentially, students build an evidenced record of their skills and keep that record after graduation.
We are a small, founder-led company working with universities in the UK and abroad. We believe education is the most powerful force for human opportunity we have.
What You Will Do
- Run weekly outreach to teaching and learning leaders, programme directors, and digital education teams at UK universities. You build your own contact list: you research each institution, identify the right person, draft the message, send it, and follow up.
- Spend half a day a week on email outreach to colleges in the United States.
- Open conversations with existing customers about wider use of the platform.
- Join customer calls led by our COO, then draft each case study, secure the customer's sign-off, and publish.
- Draft LinkedIn posts for the CEO and the company page.
- Draft and send our newsletter twice a month, to customers and to the wider sector.
- Track university tenders and flag the ones worth a bid.
- Keep the CRM accurate and report the pipeline every week.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- You organize your own week and meet deadlines without supervision.
