Role Overview
The Talent Set are delighted to partner with our client on a fantastic Email Marketing Officer role. The successful candidate will support the organisation's digital communications, focusing on email marketing, supporter journeys, and social media management to enhance engagement and advocacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing email marketing campaigns, including automation and supporter journeys that drive engagement and support organisational objectives.
- Collaborate with teams to map supporter journeys, identify opportunities for enhanced communication, and support the optimisation of retention and supporter lifetime value.
- Manage and curate content across social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
- Create compelling digital content such as graphics, videos, and animations for social media and email campaigns.
- Foster community engagement by responding to comments, messages, and participating in relevant conversations and campaigns.
- Monitor and analyse campaign performance, producing regular reports and recommending continuous improvements.
- Stay informed about trends and best practices in digital marketing and social media to enhance campaign impact and efficiency.

Person Specification
- Proven experience delivering email marketing campaigns and automated supporter journeys, with proficiency in platforms such as Mailchimp, Dotdigital, or similar.
- Sound understanding of digital marketing principles and how email marketing supports audience engagement and retention strategies.
- Experience managing multiple social media accounts and creating engaging digital assets.
- Excellent copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to analyse campaign data and translate insights into actionable improvements.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects independently and prioritise effectively.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with a collaborative approach.
- Enthusiasm for digital communications and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Desirable: experience in the charity or non-profit sector, supporter communications, and familiarity with social media management tools such as Hootsuite or Sprout Social.

What’s on Offer
- Salary: £27,000 - £30,000
- Location: Suffolk – 1 day a month
- Contract: Full time and permanent
