About Outrage London

Outrage London is a growing men’s fashion brand based in Bridgwater, Somerset, serving customers across the UK and internationally.

We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Email Marketing Manager to take ownership of our email marketing strategy and help us increase customer engagement, retention and revenue.

The position will initially be two days per week, giving you ownership of one of our most important marketing channels from day one.

As Outrage London continues to grow, there is a genuine opportunity for the position to develop into a full-time role, with increased responsibility across email, retention and customer lifecycle marketing.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to join a growing e-commerce brand at an exciting stage and build their role alongside the business.

The Role

As our Email Marketing Manager, you will take ownership of Outrage London’s email marketing activity.

You will be responsible for developing our email calendar, creating campaigns, improving automated flows, segmenting audiences and continually optimising performance.

This is not simply a role for sending newsletters.

We want someone who understands customer lifecycle marketing, conversion, retention and how email can directly contribute to revenue growth.

You will work closely with our wider creative, social and marketing team to ensure our email strategy supports product launches, campaigns, promotions and wider business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage our weekly and monthly email marketing calendar.
  • Create, build and schedule email campaigns.
  • Develop campaigns around new product launches, promotions, gifting periods and seasonal events.
  • Write engaging subject lines, preview text, headlines and email copy.
  • Create compelling campaign concepts that balance brand building with commercial performance.
  • Take ownership of Klaviyo and continually improve how we use the platform.
  • Build, manage and optimise automated email flows.
  • Develop key customer lifecycle flows including welcome, abandoned cart, abandoned checkout, browse abandonment, post-purchase, cross-sell, win-back and repeat-customer journeys.
  • Develop customer segmentation strategies based on purchase history, behaviour and engagement.
  • Create campaigns specifically for VIP, repeat, new and inactive customers.
  • Identify opportunities to increase repeat purchase rate and customer lifetime value.
  • Monitor campaign and flow performance.
  • Analyse metrics including revenue, conversion rate, click rate, open rate, unsubscribe rate and revenue per recipient.
  • Use data to identify which campaigns, offers, products and messaging perform best.
  • Run A/B tests across subject lines, content, offers, creative, calls to action and send times.
  • Continuously improve underperforming campaigns and automated flows.
  • Work with our creative team to develop email imagery and campaign assets.
  • Ensure all email creative remains consistent with the Outrage London brand.
  • Maintain database health and engagement.
  • Research competitors and identify opportunities to improve our email strategy.
  • Develop new campaign ideas rather than relying purely on promotional emails.
  • Report on performance and recommend clear actions for continued growth.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Creative thinking + copywriting + customer psychology + data + commercial awareness.

You should have:

  • Previous hands-on email marketing experience within an e-commerce or consumer brand.
  • Strong experience using Klaviyo or a similar e-commerce email marketing platform.
  • Experience building and managing automated flows.
  • Experience planning and executing regular email campaigns.
  • Strong copywriting skills.
  • Experience with customer segmentation.
  • An understanding of customer lifecycle and retention marketing.
  • An understanding of customer lifetime value and repeat-purchase behaviour.
  • Confidence analysing email performance data.
  • Experience using performance data to improve future campaigns.
  • Experience with A/B testing and optimisation.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
  • A commercial mindset and understanding of how email contributes directly to revenue.
  • A good eye for branding, design and visual presentation.

Experience within fashion, jewellery, beauty, lifestyle or another fast-moving e-commerce brand would be particularly advantageous.

Experience with Shopify + Klaviyo would be highly desirable.

What We're Not Looking For

We are not looking for someone whose experience is limited to sending occasional newsletters.

We want someone capable of taking genuine ownership of:

Strategy + campaigns + flows + segmentation + optimisation + retention + revenue.

You should be comfortable looking at the numbers, identifying opportunities and deciding what we should do next rather than simply waiting for instructions.

The Opportunity

This position is being introduced initially as a two-day-per-week role, with a salary of £35,000 pro rata.

However, we are looking for someone who can grow with Outrage London.

As the business and our retention marketing activity continue to expand, there is the opportunity for the successful candidate to take on additional days and responsibilities, with the potential for the role to ultimately become full-time.
