DPR Motorsport operates a modern, well-equipped workshop in Redhill, Surrey, running a large squad of drivers in the official Caterham Motorsport championships.

This role is ideally suited to a recently-graduated Motorsport/Automotive Engineering degree student, looking for their first step into the industry to build and develop essential mechanical and technical skills in a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities & Essential Qualities
- Motorsport Passion: Display an underpinning passion for motorsport and trackside environments
- Quality & Precision: Follow instructions and service check sheets precisely, make lists, and prioritize logically with exceptional attention to detail
- Teamwork & Values: Follow and encourage good team culture, ethics, professionalism and core values while acting as a company advocate
- Communication: Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and team members
- Flexibility & Travel: Willingness to attend all race weekends and test days (sometimes at short notice), travel away from home, and work extra hours during high-workload periods
- Growth Mindset: Strong drive and commitment to continuous personal and team improvement
Desirable Skills & Experience
- BEng Automotive, Motorsport or Mechanical engineering 2:1 minimum
- Previous Caterham-specific experience and knowledge
- Experience with race car geometry setups
- Experience with engine upgrades and repairs
- Knowledge of Racelogic data logging software
- Welding, machining, and general fabrication skills
- Valid UK Driver’s License with B+E endorsement (Car & Trailer)
