Email & Retention Manager

Function: Retention Marketing | Email & SMS | Klaviyo

Reports to: Head of Retention

Location: Remote (Office in Sheffield)

Compensation: £38,000–£45,000 (depending on experience)

Off the back of our May hire and growing client roster, we're looking to bring on another Email & Retention Manager.

Your Mission:

You don't just build Klaviyo flows - you design retention systems that drive serious revenue. You'll lead retention strategy across a portfolio of 6-8 established e-commerce brands. This is a senior role focused on strategy, architecture, QA, and results - not day-to-day email building.

You'll sit at the intersection of lifecycle strategy, segmentation logic, and commercial performance-helping brands maximise lifetime value through smarter retention systems.

About Affluent:

Affluent is one of the UK's leading e-commerce growth agencies. We help ambitious DTC brands scale through world-class creative strategy, performance marketing, and content systems. Our team has managed over £150 million in Meta ad spend and works with some of the fastest-growing brands in the UK and internationally. We're building a business known not only for the results we generate, but for the ideas we share. This role will play a key part in making that happen.

Why This Role Matters:

Retention is one of the highest-leverage growth channels available to DTC brands. The brands that win aren't simply sending more emails-they're building stronger flow architecture, sharper segmentation, and retention systems that compound over time.

This role exists to help our clients build exactly that, and to turn strong retention thinking into measurable, scalable revenue growth across every account you own.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
