About The Role
An established engineering company based in Farnborough are looking for an embedded software engineer, please see details on the role and company below:
- Develop & maintain existing Beamforming Embedded Software products
- Timely delivery of software to a variety of product lines integrating with customer projects
- Contribute to evolution of the design and product roadmap
- Support automation tools and continuous integration methodologies
- Take ownership of issues on products and engage with customers as appropriate
- Produce documentation at all levels of lifecycle (concept, design, training material etc.)

Salary: Up to £50,000 annually
Location: Farnborough, Hampshire
Sponsorship: Visa sponsorship is available for this role.
Job Requirements
- Experience of full lifecycle embedded software development
- 1-5 years’ experience within embedded software engineering
- C programming embedded software engineering experience, preferably on ARM or similar processor
- Experience working with embedded Linux embedded (kernel and user-space development and debugging, Yocto, Buildroot, low level drivers)
- Communication interfaces; Ethernet, SPI, I2C, UART, USB
- Low level Device Driver experience and ability to develop integrate and test
- Knowledge on RF fundamentals and communications theory desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of code coverage tools and unit test environments desirable. But not essential

Interview process
There will be a 2-stage process, with 30–45-minute teams call, then an Onsite technical interview.
