Embedded Software Engineer - C/C++ | RTOS | ARM
Location: Derbyshire (Onsite)
Salary: £35,000 - £65,000 + Benefits
UK Security Clearance Required
We're looking for Embedded Software Engineers to join a highly skilled engineering team developing advanced, security-focused products and systems.
This is an opportunity to work on technically challenging embedded software where quality, security and functional correctness really matter.
You'll be involved throughout the development lifecycle, designing, developing and testing high-integrity embedded software while working closely with experienced engineers across the wider team.
What we're looking for:
- Strong embedded C/C++ development experience
- Multi-threaded embedded systems and RTOS
- Register-level development with ARM-based microcontrollers, such as STM32
- Embedded debugging using JTAG, ETM or similar
- Experience developing software to standards such as MISRA or CERT C
- Software unit testing and automated test tools such as LDRA or Parasoft
- Static analysis tools and techniques
- Strong technical documentation/report writing skills

The salary range is £35,000 - £65,000, depending on experience, with additional benefits.
Security requirements: Due to the nature of the projects involved, applicants must meet the required UK nationality, residency and security vetting requirements. Full eligibility will be discussed as part of the application process.
