This growing engineering business is developing advanced embedded systems for demanding space and mission-critical applications. The team are now looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to take a senior technical role in the design, development and delivery of high-reliability embedded software.
You’ll work across the full product lifecycle, developing low-level firmware and embedded software while helping to drive improvements in development processes, testing and software quality. There is also the opportunity to provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers.

For this Embedded Software Engineer role, we are looking for someone with:
- Strong experience developing embedded software in C for real-time, resource-constrained systems
- Experience with RTOS environments such as FreeRTOS or Zephyr, and/or Embedded Linux
- Good understanding of microcontroller development and low-level peripherals
- Experience with Git, CI/CD and automated testing
- Strong knowledge of embedded debugging and the full software development lifecycle
- Ideally, experience within space, safety-critical or other mission-critical environments
