We're partnering with an innovative technology business developing next-generation energy solutions and ultra-low-power IoT devices for real-world deployment.
This is an opportunity to join a growing engineering team where you'll play a key role in designing and developing embedded hardware and firmware systems from concept through to production. Working across electronics, firmware, wireless communications and power management, you'll help build highly efficient connected products designed to operate autonomously in demanding environments.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design and develop embedded electronic systems
- Develop embedded firmware in C/C++
- Design schematics and PCB layouts
- Work with low-power microcontroller platforms
- Integrate sensors and wireless communications technologies
- Support product development from prototype through to manufacture
- Conduct testing, validation and performance optimisation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to solve complex technical challenges

What We're Looking For
- Commercial experience developing embedded systems
- Strong C/C++ embedded firmware development skills
- Experience with schematic capture, PCB design and hardware debugging
- Experience working with low-power embedded devices
- Familiarity with microcontrollers such as STM32, Nordic, Microchip or Texas Instruments
- Experience with wireless technologies such as LoRaWAN, NB-IoT, LTE-M or BLE
- Ability to work across both hardware and software disciplines
