EMC Engineer

Salary: Up to £55,000 depending on experience + Fantastic benefits & hybrid work.

Copello is working with a leading defence and engineering organisation in the recruitment of an EMC Engineer.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an experienced engineering team working on the design and development of complex electronic products. The successful candidate will support projects throughout the engineering lifecycle, contributing their knowledge across electronic design and EMC.

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, supporting the design, development and delivery of electronic solutions.

The role will involve providing technical input into product design, supporting EMC considerations and helping to resolve technical challenges throughout the development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the design and development of electronic products
  • Providing technical input across analogue and digital electronics
  • Contributing to the development of test approaches and solutions
  • Supporting engineering projects throughout the product lifecycle
  • Working closely with a range of engineering and project teams
  • Taking ownership of technical activities and delivering work to agreed timescales

What We're Looking For

We are keen to hear from engineers with experience in electronics design and development, ideally with exposure to EMC, RF or related engineering disciplines.

You will ideally have:

  • A qualification or equivalent experience within Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Physics or a related discipline
  • Experience in analogue and/or digital electronic design
  • Experience supporting the development and delivery of electronic products
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience using electronic design or simulation tools
  • The ability to manage and deliver technical work independently

Experience working within complex or highly regulated engineering environments would be beneficial

All candidates must be British Passport holders and eligible for SC.
