The Opportunity
Sharperlight is a high-performance, self-service business intelligence framework that connects to the systems businesses already run - ERPs, databases, and line-of-business applications - and puts fast, secure, governed reporting directly into the hands of users. It's a proven product with a loyal customer base, built on a reputation for performance and customer service that goes above and beyond. And with the reporting landscape changing rapidly, we're now integrating AI at the bleeding edge of the framework - giving our partners a story their competitors can't match.
We're looking for a high-energy Business Development Manager to own and grow our EMEA distribution channel. You'll work remotely, run your region like it's your own business, and be the driving force behind bringing new distributors on board and helping existing ones sell more, faster.
If you know the ERP and reporting space, want a product of real substance to sell, and are excited by where AI is taking it - and you're motivated by targets, not task lists - keep reading.
Where you'll work
This is a genuinely remote role. You can be based anywhere in the UK (Preferable) or Europe and you'll run the region from where you are. Most distributor and client engagement happens over Teams, so travel is minimal - occasional partner visits and industry events across the region.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
