Overview
Microsoft Advertising empowers advertisers around the world to reach their goals through digital advertising solutions across Microsoft Advertising platforms. We are seeking a sales and business development leader to lead our Channel Partner business across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), helping partners expand their impact and enabling more small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) to benefit from Microsoft Advertising solutions.
As Director of EMEA Channel Partner Sales, you will lead a regionally distributed organization accountable for revenue, sustainable growth, partner performance, and greater density across the SMB advertiser ecosystem. You will set the EMEA partner strategy, translate it into clear market and partner priorities, and operate with a P&L mindset. Success requires sales and people leadership, disciplined business planning, and close collaboration with product, engineering, marketing, support, legal, finance, and sales excellence teams.
You will cultivate executive relationships with channel partners across diverse EMEA markets and strengthen partner capabilities in performance media while supporting expansion into programmatic, connected TV and video, and retail media. You will coach with rigor and empathy, create clarity through change, and balance partner needs with Microsoft business objectives.

Starting January 26, 2026, Microsoft AI (MAI) employees who live within a 50-mile commute of a designated Microsoft office in the U.S. or 25-mile commute of a non-U.S., country-specific location are expected to work from the office at least three days per week. This expectation is subject to local law and may vary by jurisdiction.
Responsibilities
- Deliver or exceed EMEA revenue expectations, including revenue ex-TAC, while driving sustainable growth and profitability through disciplined portfolio management, incentive investment, and revenue-adjust budgets.
- Set and execute the EMEA Channel Partner strategy, translating regional priorities into market, partner, and product plans that grow and diversify SMB demand and improve partner performance.
- Lead, coach, and develop a distributed EMEA team with clear expectations, solid performance management, inclusive leadership, and a culture of trust, accountability, collaboration, and psychological safety.
- Build and deepen executive relationships with strategic channel partners across EMEA, including business and technical leaders, and establish joint plans that improve customer acquisition, retention, product adoption, and long-term partner value.
- Bring deep search and performance media knowledge into the business and partner with product, engineering, marketplace, and support teams so EMEA partner requirements inform platform, tooling, measurement, and optimization priorities.
- Collaborate across SMB sales, marketing, product marketing, business planning, finance, legal, and sales excellence to strengthen the regional partner value proposition, improve segmentation and governance, and reduce channel conflict.
- Represent the EMEA Channel Partner business in relevant industry forums and contribute regional insights to global Channel Partner strategy, long-range planning, operating rhythms, and One Microsoft sales motions.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field AND partner management, sales, business development, platform ecosystem/network, or partner channel development in the technology industry OR partner management, sales, business development, platform ecosystem/network, or partner channel development in the technology industry OR equivalent experience.
- Experience with planning, budgeting, and other project management activities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field AND partner management, sales, business development, platform ecosystem/network, or partner channel development in the technology industry OR partner management, sales, business development, platform ecosystem/network, or partner channel development in the technology industry OR equivalent experience.
- Experience with planning, budgeting, and other project management activities.
- Experience leading revenue growth through partner, indirect, or multi-tier sales motions, with accountability for business planning, partner performance, and cross-functional execution.
- Experience working across multiple EMEA markets and collaborating effectively across countries, cultures, and time zones.
- Experience across direct sales, partner sales, technical sales, business development, or digital advertising, including leadership through complex sales cycles.
- Experience managing strategic partnerships and delivering revenue, profitability, productivity, and timely business outcomes, including within SMB or scaled partner motions.
- Experience building growth plans with product and engineering teams, navigating ambiguity, and making clear prioritization and investment trade-offs in a resource-constrained environment.
- Executive communication and public-speaking capabilities, including the ability to build clear industry and partner narratives.

United Kingdom:
Partner Account Management M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across United Kingdom is £120,100.00 - £202,000.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.

Partner Account Management M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across France is €119,900.00 - €227,000.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
