Communications Specialist – EMEA (Contract)

Databricks | September 2026 – January 2027

Location: London (hybrid) or remote | Minimum 3 days per week

Databricks is looking for an experienced Communications Specialist to support its growing EMEA team during a pivotal period. This is an opportunity to step into one of the fastest-moving areas in technology, working at the centre of data and AI with a business that is scaling rapidly across the region.

Reporting into the EMEA Communications Lead, you’ll play a key role in strengthening Databricks’ profile across key European markets. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is comfortable operating at pace, managing multiple priorities, and delivering high-quality PR work across media relations, content and campaign execution.

If you enjoy building momentum for a brand, working closely with regional stakeholders, and getting stuck into meaningful PR activity, this could be a strong fit.

The role

You’ll support communications activity across EMEA, working closely with agencies, marketing teams and internal stakeholders to deliver consistent, impactful PR.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting PR execution across key markets including the UK, France, Netherlands, DACH and Nordics
  • Partnering with regional marketing teams to align communications with wider campaigns, customer stories and events
  • Helping to deliver PR plans for Databricks’ EMEA Data and AI World Tour (October–December, across five cities)
  • Creating press materials, messaging and content for both external use and internal communications
  • Ensuring coverage is effectively amplified across internal channels and social platforms
  • Managing agency outputs and ensuring consistency and quality across markets

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
