EMEA Content Manager
About the Opportunity
A leading international healthcare and consumer-focused organisation is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking EMEA Content Manager to help shape and scale commercial content capabilities across the region.
This role will be responsible for developing and executing high-impact content strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and conversion across multiple customer journeys throughout EMEA.
Working closely with regional marketing, digital, eCommerce, retail, insights, and global teams, you will create innovative, insight-led content that is locally relevant and aligned with commercial objectives.
This position is ideal for a digitally savvy content professional who thrives in a complex, matrixed environment and enjoys driving measurable business impact through content.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Execution
- Lead content strategy and planning across EMEA business priorities.
- Develop audience-centric content journeys and support localisation across regional markets.
- Partner with Brand, Media, CRM, Retail, and eCommerce teams to deliver integrated content plans.
- Ensure content is effectively developed, approved, deployed, and optimised across key customer touchpoints.
- Drive content quality, governance, performance, and scalability through best-practice frameworks and agency management.
- Leverage SEO, analytics, AI tools, and audience insights to continuously improve content effectiveness.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with global, regional, and local stakeholders across Marketing, Digital, CRM, eCommerce, Retail, Insights, and IT functions.
- Collaborate with local market teams and external agencies to ensure successful localisation and execution.
- Use customer, market, and performance insights to optimise content strategies and improve business outcomes.

- The successful candidate will play a key role in:
- Driving the adoption of AI-enabled content creation and optimisation tools.
- Enhancing content performance through data analysis, testing, and measurement.
- Building content capabilities and best-practice frameworks across EMEA.
- Improving content operations, governance, and localisation processes to increase efficiency and scalability.
Requirements
Experience & Skills
- Significant experience in content marketing, content strategy, digital marketing, or related disciplines.
- Experience within healthcare, consumer health, nutrition, FMCG, life sciences, or another regulated industry.
- Proven ability to develop and execute integrated content strategies across digital, CRM, eCommerce, retail media, and social channels.
- Strong understanding of SEO, content performance measurement, audience insights, and digital analytics.
- Experience working within matrix organisations across multiple countries and stakeholder groups.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and project leadership skills.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS), analytics platforms, content operations, and AI-enabled content tools.

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Digital Media, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Additional qualifications in digital marketing, content strategy, customer experience, or related disciplines would be advantageous.
