Position: EMEA Credit Technology Delivery & Architecture Lead (Director level)
Contract Length: 6 months +
Location: London/Hybrid (3 days a week in the office)
Working Pattern: Via Umbrella Company
Our client, a leading organisation in the financial services sector, is seeking an exceptional EMEA Credit Technology Delivery & Architecture Lead to spearhead their Credit Transformation Programme. This temporary role is an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic team within a complex and evolving technology landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Delivery:
- Direct end-to-end delivery of system architecture and integration of in-house and vendor SaaS applications.
- Design and ratify solution architecture, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
- Oversee planning and resource management, ensuring delivery plans align with multiple programme timelines and objectives.
Enterprise & Solution Architecture Leadership:
- Establish and maintain application, data, and technology roadmaps to support the Credit Transformation strategy.
- Drive architecture simplification and modernisation initiatives across the Credit technology estate.
- Govern architecture artefacts, ensuring compliance with regulatory and operational standards.

Scrum of Scrums & Cross-Squad Coordination:
- Lead agile ceremonies and manage cross-team dependencies, risks, and issues, promoting collaboration across squads.
- Ensure consistent delivery practices and knowledge sharing across workstreams.
Stakeholder & Strategic Management:
- Act as the primary link between multiple delivery teams, business stakeholders, and external partners.
- Communicate progress, risks, and impacts to manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience in delivering technical solutions within Credit Lending domain.
- Proven track record in defining and driving technical strategy and roadmaps.
- Strong understanding of Corporate & Investment Banking Lending, Credit Risk metrics, and their enablement through IT solutions.
- Knowledge of modern integration patterns, including APIs and microservices.
- Exceptional communication skills to articulate complex concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, nCino, Loan IQ, and data analytics platforms.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, particularly scrum of scrums and Atlassian tooling.
