Pay Range: £25,800 - £35,400
Placement within the salary range will vary depending on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and internal equity considerations.
Role Overview
The Digital Platform Specialist will play a key role in supporting Bio-Techne's digital finance transformation across the EMEA region. The position is responsible for coordinating e-Invoicing implementation, maintaining compliance with evolving local regulatory requirements, supporting digital procurement and finance platforms, and driving process improvements that enhance efficiency and user experience.
Working closely with Finance, Procurement, IT, Tax, Legal, external vendors, and customers, the role will act as a central point of expertise for e-Invoicing operations, platform administration, and digital finance initiatives, helping ensure seamless business processes across multiple countries.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate the implementation and ongoing optimisation of e-Invoicing initiatives across multiple EMEA countries, ensuring compliance, quality, and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to implement compliant e-Invoicing solutions aligned to local regulatory requirements.
- Drive process improvements to optimise end-to-end e-Invoicing workflows and integration with existing ERP and accounting systems.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all e-Invoicing-related queries.
- Support testing, validation, and deployment of new e-Invoicing and ERP integrations.
- Produce reporting and KPI metrics relating to invoice processing, platform performance, and compliance.
- Identify opportunities for automation and standardisation across finance & procurement processes.
- Deliver end-user training and system guidance where required.
- Support supplier and customer onboarding onto digital invoicing platforms.

Procurement Responsibilities
- Assist with supplier onboarding and maintenance of supplier master data.
- Coordinate electronic purchase order and invoice workflows.
- Support Procurement/customer service teams in driving digital adoption and process compliance.
- Assist in resolving system-related purchasing and invoicing issues.
Operational responsibilities
- Support System Administrator on all external portals and e-Invoicing platforms by maintaining a current user database & ensuring secure management of password repositories.
- Create and maintain up-to-date documentation of digital processes, workflows, and compliance requirements.
- Serve as escalation point for operational queries or incidents.
- Daily management of existing integrations and solving root cause of any errors.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
- Fluent written and spoken English is essential.
- Competency in a second language relevant to Bio-Techne’s European customer base would be beneficial.
- 2 – 3 years’ experience of working in a similar role.
- Knowledge of EDI, PEPPOL, electronic invoicing networks, or supplier portals.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as Microsoft D365, SAP, Oracle, or similar.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in a regulated or compliance-driven environment is desirable.
