This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a hands-on team with responsibility for employment-related legal matters including Apple's operations across Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). DESCRIPTION
Provide advice and counsel to management and Apple’s People Team on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment issues including:

- union and works council matters
- internal investigations
- employment/labour tribunals
- employee privacy issues
Formulate and revise standard terms of employment or engagement and employee policies. Handle outside counsel on employment litigation matters. Advise on change management programmes, restructures, M&A and new country expansion projects throughout the EMEA region. Prepare and conduct employment law training programs for the People Team and management. Occasional travel is required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Extensive experience in providing varied employment advice to large multi-national organisations. Experience handling and completing complex multi-jurisdictional projects and familiarity with the impact of employment laws in EMEA region on global initiatives. Experience with collective bargaining desirable. Prior in-house experience valued, especially with pan-EMEA operations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Consistent track record to form relationships with clients and management. Excellent technical, analytical and decision-making skills together with an ability to apply them to commercial business context and communicate, both verbal and written, in a non-technical manner. Self-motivated and solution driven. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and perform at the highest level.
